Petaldrop padded over to the helpless scrap, and started grooming its icy-wet for into soft dry fuzz. "Come here, you poor thing.. I'll feed you..." she said softly, like a twoleg to its kit. She grabbed the bundle of fuzz gently with her teeth, and carried him to the nursery.
She had she the scrap down, and not long after, fell asleep wit it. She knew the kit would have a future, instead of dying now. And he looked forward to it.
