Camp Clearing

Frostpelt followed FrigidPounce and stood beside him, blinking his eyes against the bright light as well. "Can I sit with you?" he mumbled through a yawn.

The nimble kit sneaks up on FrostPelt, suppressing a giggle, "GOT YOU!" She giggles, pouncing on his face. xD

FrostPelt starts in surprise, then laughs. "You got me," he concedes, nudging the playful kit's head with his nose. "Was that you I heard just before, giving MothPaw a hard time?" he teased.

ChillingKit giggles and leaps at FrostPelt, playfully tackling his bundle of fur. "Ooh, you're a snuggly cat!" She exclaims, burying her face into his fur before going back. "We weren't giving MothPaw a hard time- She needed to save LeopardKit." She tries to explain.

She nods, climbing on FrostPelt, "We where only playing!"

"See." She smirked.

"Ah, I see," FrostPelt laughs, twitching his ears in amusement. "But I think when you're both apprentices, you'll not want to be bothered by kits either." He blinks good-naturedly and playfully nudges the kits with his nose, then mews, "I bet you're looking forward to your apprentice ceremonies!"

LeopardKit nods, clambering on his back, "Yes! It's so boring in the nursery!"

"The sooner you have mentors keeping an eye on you, the better." BreathStar chuckled, licking her paw and dragging it over her ear.

"It's so boring in the nursery." She huffs, pouting. "I wanna go outside and see the snow. To see the eagles soar in the air. To hunt for the clan." Her eyes shined as she talked. "It would be a great honor! I would love to run and jump and hunt in the snow," She meows with a content sigh. "I can't wait to be an apprentice. I would like you to be my mentor!" She purred, giggling as she pounces playfully on FrostPelt. "Well? Would you be my mentor?"

- xDD She doesn't know that the leader chooses the mentor. She thought MothPaw requested BreathStar to be her mentor. xD

"I will choose your mentor," BreathStar meowed softly.

The kit smiles, flicking her tail, "Anyways, FrostPelt wants to mentor me.. DON'T YOU?!" She mews sternly, as she turns to the warrior. xD

"Don't bother the warriors, LeopardKit." She grins at FrostPelt.

The kit blushes, pawing the leader playfully, "Sorry BreathStar, but he really does want to be my mentor!" She mews, a knowing look on her face. xD

"No, he wants to be my mentor." She giggled and nods seriously. "Okay. You choose the mentor, BreathStar."

"Well, you'll soon find out who your mentor will be," she licked the kit's forehead.

She smiles, bouncing around, "BreathStar, can you take me worm hunting outside camp?"

"Okay."She squeaks. "Can I run in the snow? Please?""

She shook her head. "Sorry, but no going out of camp at the moment. It's icy and dangerous. But you could play in the snow inside camp, like ChillingKit." she smiled and licked her paw.

Rushed nods, bouncing off.

"LOOK!" She shouts. "There's two huge piles of snows! I'll play in one and you can find worms in the other." She bounds up and down on the snow until she hits the floor. xD

FrostPelt flicks his tail in amusement, then turns to BreathStar. "They were right, though, BreathStar. I would love to be one of their mentors." He turns to lick flat his fur, ruffled from LeopardKit and ChillingKit's playful attacks.

Her ears perk as she hears FrostPelts remark. "And by that he means me!!"

He drags a paw over his ear, then grins at LeopardKit. "I think that's ultimately for BreathStar to decide," he mews earnestly. "I think you'll be a great warrior, no matter who your mentor, though."

"But I'll be a better warrior if you're my mentor." She protests, bounding in the snow.
