The evergreen forest

OakClan forest

OakClan territory is made up of about three, vast forest areas, it consists of mainly oak trees and the odd birch and maple. This is the main hunting area and a small stream runs through the middle.

CurlewKit stumbled through the shady forest with wide eyes. "B-Brother? I think I lost myself!" She squealed with fright.

The tom chuckles, tapping her lightly on the shoulder with his snowy white tail, "It's fine, don't worry."

"Phew! You're here." She gave her chest a few embarrased licks. "I mean - I knew I wasn't lost! Just kidding is all." CurlewKit rambled awkwardly. xD

He grins, cuffing her ear, "Oh yes, of course."

CurlewKit raised her head and took in a deep breath, nose wrinkling. "Ew! What is that STENCH?!" She exclaimed, having caught a fresh fox scent.

Drama. Kinda. xD

The tom drinks in the fox stench, growling orders to CurlewKit, "Climb that tree, quick!" He mews, locating the source in a mossy cave about 11 fox-lengths away.

"I can't climb you mousebrain!" CurlewKit screeched, probably louder than she should've.

The tom winces, picking the kit up by the scruff, climbing the trunk of the tree and placing her on a hight brach, "Don't move!" He hisses, watching the fox as it ventures out of the cave.

RevealedPaw pads in, and flinched at the scent of fox. She was about to go back and warn the leader and realized the leader was here. She bristles. There's a kit! She thought, and her eyes scanned the area carefully before seeing two cats on a branch. She hesitates, not sure could she climb a tree but she decided to try her best. She swiftly climbs a tree nearby PtarmiganStar. "Hey," She calls softly. "Is there a kit there?"

He nods, before streaking through the trees until he was right above the fox. Swiftly, he leaps on top of it, digging his claws into its sides.

Even though she didn't have any training, she directly leaped to PtarmiganStar's branch and dived to the fox, and made sure she didn't hit her leader on the way as she landed on it's head, slashed it's ear and before neatly hopping off. She hisses angrily and swiped her paw at it's pelt, claws unsheathed.

The tom grabs to foxes scruff and starts to shake it, making the fox dizzy. Once it was off balance, he jabs it with his paw and threateningly snaps his bared teeth just in front of the foxes muzzle, causing it to retreat.

CurlewKit began cheering for her brother, not realising the fox could kill them both, "Yeah! Go PtarmiganStar! Slash his sides! Gouge his eyes out!" She yelled, bouncing up and down on her branch with excitement.

She let out a small sigh of relief and winces, covering the scratch on her left back paw quickly so PtarmiganStar won't see. She slowly climbs back on the tree and grabs CurlewKit by the scruff and slowly climbed back down. She blinks and pads over to PtarmiganStar and slowly lowers the kit. "Are you okay?" She asks shyly, worried for her leader

CurlewKit wiggled in the stranger's graps, trying to slash her chest. "Hey! Let go of me! Who're you anyways?" She yelled, squirming like a worm.

"Um, I already put you on the ground?" She tipped her head on one side, confused, and shook her head slowly. "I'm RevealedPaw." She meows quietly. "I just became an apprentice of OakClan." She nervously, slowly flattens her ears.

He nods, flicking an ear, "Fine, just a small scratch on my muzzle, nothing major." He turns to CurlewKit, a big smile on his muzzle, "Brilliant job, you shall be a great hunter, scenting that fox was very important!"

CurlewKit raised her head and puffed out her chest fur with pride. Then she blinked and lowered her head again, "That's a fox? I thought foxes were cute and fluffy!" She asked with a confused tilt of her head. xD

She couldn't help but giggle, a small smile splitting across her muzzle. "Most of them are, but some are big and strong. But I'm sure you can defeat them with one blow on thier muzzle! They'll scream for their mums!"

He nods, flicking his tail, "Yes, that was a fox, remember the scent."

"Of course," She blinks, and meows, "We should go back to camp first, maybe? In case the fox comes back." Her gaze drifts over to CurlewKit.

"That shouldn't be hard." CurlewKit grinned mischievously, "It stank!"

He nods at RevealedPaw, "Great idea."

She purred; gently sweeping her tail over at CurlewKit. "Prepare for even more stinky creatures." Then, she dipped her head at PtarmiganStar. She slowly sweeps her tail at CurlewKit. "Come on. We should go back to camp and you can have more adventures in camp."
