Feather crept across the long, thick tree branch, swaying her tail to balance herself as the soundlessly steps. Her emerald eyes intent on a mouse, resting on the floor of the woods. Hovering in the sky, a hawk. Slowly the hawk got closer, creeping up onto the mouse. Feather waited patiently, balancing on the sturdy branch, a few cat-lengths above the ground. The hawk swooped down, as it picked up the mouse, Feather jumped squarely onto the wings of the bird, knocking it to the ground, sinking her jaws into the bird she killed it. Bringing two kills to the caught-prey pile.
